Partnership with Heriot-Watt University

As an Approved Learning Partner of Heriot-Watt University’s Edinburgh Business School (EBS), LICA provides both administrative and academic support in delivering EBS’ MBA and MSc in Supply Chain Management Programs. Based in Edinburgh, Scotland, Heriot-Watt University is regarded as a globally respected institution ranked at a high level across top university league tables and opening doors to both regional and international career opportunities in business management and logistics.

Based on hybrid mode of learning, the course program combines the flexibility of online learning activities with the invaluable advantages of in-person classroom instruction and peer collaboration.     

Effectively, LICA oversees the administration of enrollment procedures and tuition matters, including tuition fee and scholarships, and arranges in-person tutorial classes on its premises run by instructors appointed by Heriot-Watt University. 

Alongside the Emerging Economy Scholarships provided by Heriot-Watt University, LICA further offers complementary scholarships in partnership with Kühne Foundation (Germany) designated to cover portions of tuition fees.

Programs Offered

We offer the following two prestigious Master’s degree programs from Heriot-Watt University, designed to equip students with cutting-edge skills and knowledge required to lead in today’s global marketplace. 

MBA Program

Enrollment Period: January and September

Duration: 2,5 years (5 semesters)

Course Load: 2 courses per semester

The curriculum program consists of nine courses, including six mandatory and three elective courses:

  • Leadership Theory and Practice (H11LT)
  • People, Work and Organisations (H11PW)
  • Financial Decision Making (H11FM)
  • Strategic Marketing (H11SM)

Elective Courses:

  • Logistics Operations: Freight Transport and Warehouse Management (H11LO)
  • Strategies for Managing Supply Chains (H11GL)
  • Global Purchasing and Supply (H11GP)

 

MSc in Supply Chain Management & Logistics

Enrollment Period: January and September

Duration: 2 years (4 semesters)

Course Load: 2 courses per semester

The curriculum program consists of eight courses, including seven mandatory and one elective course:
